The truth is 2018 has been a MASSIVE working year for me, and very business focused. At the start of this year I decided to build an (App)!

My business underwent fast growth and at this stage it was only me and 3 employees. Most days I worked 10-14 hours! In the last 1-2 months of building the App I was hardly sleeping, let alone getting to the gym, let alone eating much at all. I was sooooooo stressed that my appetite was at an all time low.

Any who onwards and upwards we picked ourselves up and kept pushing! New team, more employees, new town (I moved to the GC) and started prep! I knew I had lost quite a bit of muscle leading up, but also knew that i’m never afraid of hard work.

I worked my 🍑 off for 14 weeks and was so happy with how I transformed my body!

I’m in no way saying I looked ‘bad’ before, I’m just stating I lost a bit of muscle. The truth is my journey is never ending, with life your body undergoes changes. For a good 6 months training and nutrition really took the back seat, which was necessary and okay. It’s okay for your body to change, it’s okay for your priorities to sometimes change, this is life💕

My business and helping females has and always will come first, I am so proud of the amount of work and effort I’ve given 2018 both mentally and physically! There’s been a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into this year and I’m proud to say after many failures, it’s so damn worth it✨

I see so much self-love talk on social media these days, which Is incredible to see #girlpower✨

However, I know from experience, It’s not as simple as just saying “just learn to love yourself” as it is not an easy task. It takes everyday practicing, repetition and daily rituals.

Did you know every cell in your body is eavesdropping on your thoughts💭

Our body hears and believes everything we think and feel about ourselves.

Self 💕 needs to be practiced everyday. For me, my defining moment was when I stopped striving to be someone else. I still remember in high school googling ‘Victoria Secret Models Diets’. I was striving for something that didn’t exist, because I was never going to be that person. The moment I stopped striving to be someone else, and focused on being the best I could be was when I began to like who I was.

I think it’s great to take inspiration from people, their work ethic etc. But there needs to be a clear line as to what we are taking from that person, as this is where we can get confused.

The kinder you are to others, the kinder you are to yourself. Your energy flows✨

Everyday you should be striving for something you want to achieve, the person you want to become and the energy you want to carry (your thoughts).

I am a big believer in setting goals, in all aspects of your life. If you don’t know who your striving to be, how are you supposed to become that person?
