Reached my peak this week with my calories being quite high + a cheat meal! Holding a little water this week (always hold in my hips and lower belly/bit of bloating) -
This is normal! When you compete you cannot let your emotions get in the way of your progress. I personally do not weigh myself throughout my whole prep, yep crazy but I just don’t. I’ve worked very hard to make sure I don’t let my emotions get the best of me and to become ‘obsessive’ each week you have a goal, comp day you’ll be where you need to be just trust and follow the process, and enjoy it. It’s incredible what our bodies can dooooo π

I was comparing some photos and wanted to share something with you.
We are all so fixated on having our dream body in just a few weeks or months. The truth is it takes time. Let me sum up these pics below for you.
2012 I was 19 I had always been fit and active as a child but this is when I started lifting. I was not overly experienced but I have it my best go.
-
This photo on the left was 2016 before my first Worlds- I had been weight training for 3 years. I had already competed once and this was 2 weeks out from stepping on the world stage, so you could imagine the hard work I had been putting in!
-
Don’t get me wrong, I was very proud of my body at this stage however i’ve always dreamt of a more womanly shape, so I knew I had to keep working.
-
2018 6 years of being in the gym, learning about my body how it works and what it best responds too.
-
2018 and I finally have the body I have always wanted.
Progress takes time, this is why it is so important to enjoy the journey.
I loved my body at all stages, and as I grow I will too.
-
The first step is to start, it takes 21 days to form a habit and that is why I have created my 21 day challenge.
-
Sometimes getting started is all you need to begin to make a lifestyle change!
-
You can still love yourself while you are working on being what you dream to be π«
